When and why physiotherapy is important?

Know the special things related to it

Most people do not value physiotherapy more than 'another' alternative medicine method. Some limit its scope to massage, while some consider it useful to correct an injury during the game. But the utility of physiotherapy is much more than this. In this post Dr Rahul K Sharma tells Why and when physiotherapy is important

If you want to get relief from pain without medication, injection and operation, then physiotherapy should be considered.

This technique is useful for both medical and health fields. But due to lack of information and want to save expenses, people keep taking painkillers. Patients go to the physiotherapist only when the pain becomes unbearable.

Physiotherapy also has special experts related to the fields of neurology, bone, heart, problems of children and the elderly. Physiotherapists usually look at the complete history of the disease before starting treatment. Accordingly, modern electrotherapy (in which current is used for treatment) and stretching and exercise methods are adopted. Physiotherapists take the help of modern techniques and machines to relieve muscle and joint pain.

In many cases, it is recommended to get physiotherapy in hip and knee implants and their rehabilitation after fracture. Physicians also consider physiotherapy necessary in many cases.

Teaches the art of breathing

The scope of physiotherapy is not limited to muscles and bones. Its range also includes the nerves that control various organs of our body. Take asthma or any type of respiratory diseases as an example. The cardiovascular physiotherapist corrects such patients through breathing and exhaling exercises or balloon inflating exercises.

In fact, through this, cardiovascular physiotherapists perform stretching of neck and chest muscles, which makes them stronger.

Give relief even in unbearable pain

According to a research conducted in Denmark, physiotherapy can also relieve pain in osteoporosis or any other fracture. In fact, physiotherapists strengthen the muscles and joints surrounding the pain wit
